I found out recently that a good friend of mine that I have known since Junior High School has started a new Mens design label called Hors De Combat, along with a few others. The term means "Outside the fight" which is what they say is the underlying foundation of the brand.

"By combining the form and functionality of military apparel with a minimalist design approach, we aim to create distinctive garments with subtle flair, our products are made locally in Calgary, Canada"

As you can see from the photos, there is a real attention to detail, something that I am finding lacking in mens fashion lately. Lately mens fashion has been all about beige and grey however this collection brings something different to the table. The details in the lining, accents, and over-all quality are what sets this collection apart.

I am truly excited for the launch of Hors De Combat and congratulate them for bringing some high style to the mens fashion scene in Calgary.
