The IKEA piece that started a revolution!
This gorgeous table from IKEA is making a come back! Introduced back in 1956 and then called LOVET, or "The Leaf" (Now called LOVEBACKEN). This table started the whole flat pack revolution at IKEA. The story is that founder of IKEA, Ingvar Kamprand and designer Gillis Lundgren found the piece to cumbersome to fit into their carts, so they un-screwed the legs and hence the flat-pack revolution was started.
The mid-century lines of this table are very attractive. With the poplar veneer patterned top, skinny solid beach leg with the touch of gold, makes it a perfect accent table to be placed beside a sleek sofa or beside a gorgeous side chair. And selling for $69, you cannot beat that price!!!
